Mein Projekt „caja de viento“ im Rahmen des Dualen Jahrs Deutschland – Mexiko ist im April 2017 mit einem Konzert in Mexico City zu Ende gegangen. Ich hatte die große Freude, fünf neue Kompositionen uraufzuführen, die von der internationalen Jury (Georgina Derbez, Prof. Ipke Starke und ich selbst) aus 14 Einsendungen des Kompositionswettbewerbs ausgewählt wurden. Die Gewinner sind

Andrea Gonzales wurde für ihr Stück „Ad infinitum“ mit dem Sonderpreis der Jury ausgezeichnet.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis des Projektes. Das Niveau aller eingereichten Kompositionen war sehr hoch und zeugte von großer Originalität. Es ist toll zu sehen, wie intensiv sich die jungen Komponisten mit dem Akkordeon beschäftigt haben.

My project „caja de viento“ as part of the dual year Germany-Mexico came to an end in April 2017 with a concert in Mexico City. I was proud to premier five new pieces which were chosen out of 14 submissions by an international jury (Georgina Derbez, Prof. Ipke Starke and myself)

Andrea Gonzales received the special prize of the jury for her piece „Ad infinitum“.

I am very happy with the result of the project. The level of all the submissions was very high. It was great to see the dedication and curiousity of these young composers to approach the accordion.
