Ich freue mich auf die Uraufführung von Georgina Derbez´ neuer Kammeroper „La Creciente“ im Rahmen des Festival Internacional Cervantino  am 9. und 10. Oktober. Die Oper basiert auf dem Film „El premio“ der argentinischen Regisseurin Paula Markovitch, die auch das Libretto geschrieben hat. Es ist eine sehr bewegende Geschichte, die zur Zeit der argentinischen Militärjunta spielt. Die Besetzung ist klangfarbenreich und transparent: Klarinette, Vibrafon & Percussion, Akkordeon und Klavier.

I very excited about the premier of Georgina Derbez´ new chamber opera „La Creciente“ which will be premiered at the Festival Internacional Cervantino on October 9. The opera is based on the movie „El premio“ by Argentinian movie director Paula Markovitch who also wrote the libretto. It is a very touching story that is set at the time of the Argentinian military junta. The instrumentation will be colourful and transparent: clarinet, vibraphone/percussion, accordion and piano.

Meine Koffer sind gepackt für meine zweite Tour in die Vereinigten Staaten in diesem Jahr. Ich freue mich sehr auf das legendäre HIGH ZERO Festival of Experimental Improvised Music in Baltimore mit vielen interessanten Musiker-Kollegen. Vorher werde ich kurz in Washington D.C. beim  Sonic Circuits Festival   Station machen. Ich freue mich, in diesen Teil der Welt zurück zu kommen, wo es eine sehr spannende Szene für experimentelle Musik gibt.

My bags are packed for my second tour to the US this year and I am very excited to be a part of Baltimore´s legendary HIGH ZERO Festival of Experimental Improvised Music with a great line-up of amazing musicians. Before I get there I will quickly dash through Washington D.C. for Sonic Circuits Festival. I m really excited to get back to this part of the world where so much crazy music making is happening!
